Core Tech Stack: IBM DataStage 11.7, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Unix shell scripting, Power BI (desktop/server/cloud).Focus: Strong ETL + BI mix (about 70% ETL, 30% Power BI).Job Description SummaryThe candidate should have 6+ Years of Experience in Data warehousing and BIIBM Datastage 11.7 and SQL-PLSQLWorking knowledge Oracle and PostGRE databaseShould have hands on experience in Unix shell scriptingStrong proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries and good knowledge on Datawarehouse models.Exposure in Data Analysis, design, report development and unit test experience with Power BI (POWERBI desktop, POWERBI Server and cloud).Performance Optimization in Reports and queries.Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly and transform into visuals.Ability to analyze the models and build new models in POWERBIAbility to manage and monitor the schedules.An ability to independently research and solve complex reporting issues (Troubleshooting skills).Knowledge Expectation:Understanding of Database management system, specifically RDBMS principles like normalization, de-normalization, data modelling, relationship models, ER Diagrams, etc.Understanding of Database management system, specifically RDBMS principles like normalization, de-normalization, data modelling, relationship models, ER Diagrams, etc.Understanding of methods to analyze and extract the data using Structured query languages.Ability to learn data extraction and different transformation methodologys using Algorithms, techniques and ETL Tools.Fundamentals of data warehouse and different schemas.Understanding of data security principles.Understanding of methods to access & model the data and turn to actionable insights using BI ToolsUnderstanding of Operating system scripting Shell scripting
