As a network deployment manager at Comcast, you will be responsible for network site planning, equipment deployment planning, deployment management, and basic design of network instances. Your main duties will include completing network deployment, managing contract teams, provisioning and supporting wireless and Ethernet transport regional networks serving residential and commercial customers. You will also be required to respond to network incidents, determine the resources needed for correction, and either correct the issue or lead the team involved in resolving the incident. With your in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in this discipline, you will usually determine your own work priorities and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Your core responsibilities will include: - Developing practices and procedures for network installation, maintenance, and operation - Developing and implementing test and acceptance criteria for network elements - Scheduling equipment activations, customer-affecting network maintenance, developing documents for network users, and meeting with potential customers to design solutions - Exercising judgment during incident management, site design, network configuration, and network activation to ensure efficient use of funds and time - Designing network site planning for multiple regional network sites - Representing Regional Company interests with providers to ensure timely delivery of circuits - Developing and maintaining network element documentation and inventory, including appropriate inventory of network spare equipment for rapid restoration - Ordering, tracking, and reporting on all internal and external wired and wireless connection activation activities - Developing cost proposal documents - Consistently exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance - Working nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary - Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned At Comcast, we value individuals who understand our Operating Principles, prioritize the customer experience, are knowledgeable about our technology and products, work well in teams, actively contribute to the Net Promoter System, drive results and growth, respect and promote inclusion & diversity, and prioritize doing what's right for each other, our customers, investors, and communities.
