As an Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) Engineer, you will be working with a group of passionate engineers across multidisciplinary domains and will be responsible for the assembly, integration, and testing of a reusable medium lift Launch Vehicle, as well as final checkouts in preparation for Launch operations . You will apply standard engineering techniques and ensure operational efficiency in the design, analysis, implementation and qualification of the test facilities. You will also be responsible for ground testing and qualification of the hardware for flight readiness. Responsibilities: Develop detailed Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), loss calculations (heat and pressure), and flow simulations for test skids for injectors, turbo pumps, engines, and full stages for a semi-cryogenic Launch Vehicle. Generate and document requirement specification for the fluid components, instrumentation, safety gears, electrical components for a semi-cryogenic rocket engine test facility. Develop and execute detailed AIT plans of the test skids and test hardware (mechanical as well as electrical) and procedures/process maps. Conduct pre-rollout checks and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing. Develop qualification and verification plan for the ground support systems (mechanical and electrical) for the test/flight hardware. Optimize end-to-end operations of the test campaign to hone the turn around time for the phases of test. Generate and maintain detailed records such as operation checklists, safety and handling documents, integration procedures, Test and Evaluation (T&E) reports, deviation reports, and conformance documentation in accordance with internal and regulatory standards. Identify, locate and mitigate bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the AIT processes and propose design-for-assembly or design-for-testability improvements to upstream teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in propulsion systems assembly, integration, or testing (experience in aerospace, oil and gas; space domain preferred). Strong understanding of fluid pressurized systems, mechanical structures, test instrumentation, and safety protocols. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g. IS, NASA, ASTM, ASME 9000, 9001D). Strong communication, teamwork abilities and multidisciplinary knowledge. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, GADs, CAD models, and technical documentation. Familiarity with tools like MS Excel, Word, Amesim, SolidWorks, or equivalent is a preferred. Desired Skills: Experience in Launch Vehicle or Spacecraft testing. Experience in cryogenic fluids and component handling. Knowledge in specification data of fluid components.  Knowledge in safety standards and safety equipment.
