Estimator (Infrastructure)

As an Estimator at our company, your role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and compliant bids. You will be focusing on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, and related civil works in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: - Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates. - Conduct quantity take-off from drawings and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ). - Prepare and send tender queries and floating inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors. - Evaluate received quotations and ensure accurate pricing comparisons. - Utilize MS Excel or CANDY software for rate analysis and pricing. - Support the bid preparation and submission process. - Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams for technical and commercial clarifications. - Maintain a database of material, labor, and subcontractor costs for reference. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. - 4-6 years of estimation experience in infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.). - Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to meet tender submission deadlines.
