Estimator & Draftsman

You are seeking an experienced Estimator & Draftsman to join the team in Gurgaon, New Delhi. The ideal candidate will be an expert in 2D drafting and possess significant experience in estimation, preferably within the fenestration industry. You will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates, technical drawings, and collaborating across teams to ensure project success. - Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings and blueprints for fenestration projects using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. - Interpret architectural and engineering specifications to develop comprehensive plans and shop drawings. - Calculate and determine the total cost of materials, labor, equipment, and utilities for projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements. - Analyze project documents and specifications to prepare reliable cost and time estimates. - Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and project feasibility. - Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site conditions. - Manage urgent submissions and ensure timely delivery of estimates and drawings. - Maintain organized records of all drawings, estimates, and relevant documentation for easy retrieval and compliance. - Stay updated with the latest industry standards, building codes, and best practices in drafting and estimation. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent. - Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting (2D) and estimation, preferably in the fenestration or construction industry. - Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. - Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards, building codes, and materials relevant to fenestration. - Proven ability to extract quantities and perform material take-offs from drawings. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Candidates with direct experience in the fenestration industry will be given preference.,
