Overview As a Software Engineer II in a product development organization, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud applications in the Data Quality domain. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and other software developers for developing product features. You are expected to be hands-on in Java and up to date with the latest development technologies such as REST API and Cloud Applications. What You Will Do Design & Development of Java Applications. End to end technical ownership of Product features. Effort estimation, participation in Agile ceremonies, design/code reviews, etc. Evaluate, learn, and incorporate new technologies into new and existing frameworks and solutions as applicable. What We Are Looking For 3+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record in product development. Good understanding of Design Patterns & Java core concept and hands on experience to apply them in day-to-day design. Experience in in Java for backend development, familiarity with frontend scripting languages such as Node.js and React.js is a plus. Understanding and experience with databases like MongoDB, Postgres. Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is highly desirable. Basic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a must. Experience of AWS/Azure/GCP, Redis, Security Domain, Datadog, Codefresh, hands on Terraform is a plus. You will be supporting the Sales & Tendering engineers to develop Tender specific engineering documents and drawings for calculating right cost and drawings submission to customer as part of offer documentation. This role complete involved in Primary Engineering of Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) of transmission and sub-transmission systems.
