The Consulting Technical Manager position is primarily responsible for working on Oracle Utilities Implementation, Maintenance, Support, and Testing Projects for Oracle Utilities Clients. Your role will involve developing practical and creative solutions to solve business problems. You will lead workshops with clients to deliver clear specifications of the customers" business requirements and business-justified solutions. As a Consulting Technical Manager, you will demonstrate expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements. You will lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagements, ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions within the constraints of time and budget. Additionally, you will act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop the skills of team members. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and developing industry experience, application skills, contributing to reusable collateral/accelerators, and consulting expertise among the delivery consulting team. You will enhance and evolve business development and delivery tools/collateral, including methodology and estimating models. You will actively support business development and engage in knowledge sharing across your peer group. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 12 years of enterprise software design development experience, preferably in a multinational organization. Additionally, you should have at least 8 years of work experience in building custom solutions using OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework) and in java, groovy, or OUAF configuration tool script design and development. Experience in detail level estimation of effort for development and testing of design solutions is required. Your technical capabilities should include proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML technologies, and the Oracle Application Integration stack. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and code-review complex code written by others are essential. Techno/Functional Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Products such as Customer Care and Billing (CCB), Customer to Meter (C2M), Meter Data Management (MDM), Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), and Work and Asset Management (WAM) is preferable.
