Role Overview We are seeking a Student Success Advisor – New Zealand Higher Education to support students in identifying their ideal universities and programs, with a core focus on New Zealand's higher education landscape. The role involves providing one-on-one career counselling, managing student inquiries, and ensuring a seamless application process to international institutions. This position is perfect for someone passionate about helping students unlock global opportunities through quality education while fostering meaningful relationships with students, parents, and university partners. Key Responsibilities Student Counselling & Career Guidance Provide expert advice to students and their families about study options in New Zealand, including courses, universities, scholarships, and career pathways Assess students’ academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend the best-fit programs and institutions. Guide students on university applications, personal statements, and admission requirements Offer counselling not only to new graduates but also to working professionals seeking career shifts or further study abroad opportunities. Student Relationship Management Build strong relationships with students through regular follow-ups, ensuring consistent support throughout the application and admission process. Maintain and update student databases, tracking leads and applications to maximize conversion rates. Address face-to-face, phone, and email inquiries promptly and professionally. University & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a bridge between students and New Zealand university representatives, ensuring smooth communication. Collaborate with internal teams to organize student fairs, university webinars, and promotional events. Provide feedback to the marketing team about student interests and program demand to strengthen Estero’s outreach. Administrative & Technical Support Ensure accurate data entry into CRM systems for efficient tracking of student progress. Prepare counselling reports, application summaries, and conversion statistics for internal use Assist in event planning and execution, including school/university visits and education fairs. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution (Master's degree preferred but not required). Excellent communication skills - strong English proficiency in writing, speaking, and presenting. Client relationship experience is highly desirable - previous roles in sales, HR, or marketing will be an advantage. Knowledge of New Zealand's higher education sector and admission processes is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills - patient, friendly, and empathetic in dealing with students and parents. Multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM tools. Why Join Estero Education Services?
