As an Ivy League - College Admissions Consultant at CollegePass, you will be responsible for mentoring high school students who are targeting Ivy League and Top 50 U.S. universities. This remote, part-time position requires experience in U.S. college admissions advising and exceptional skills in essay editing and narrative strategy. You will collaborate closely with students and families from India to develop individualized admissions strategies, shape extracurricular portfolios, and provide high-quality, authentic essay feedback. Your responsibilities will include guiding students through the U.S. college admissions process, from profile positioning to application completion. You will need to develop and advise on admissions strategies tailored to each student's goals, as well as edit Common App essays, UC PIQs, and supplemental essays according to school-specific prompts and deadlines. Additionally, you will support school list development and application planning, track student progress, and maintain internal documentation. It is essential to stay current with trends in U.S. admissions policies, such as test-optional practices, application changes, and financial aid updates. To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or higher from a Top 20 U.S. university/Ivy League (preferred). A minimum of 1 year of experience in U.S.-focused college counseling or admissions is required, along with a proven track record of successfully guiding students from India and/or the U.S. into Top 50 U.S. universities. Strong editing skills for personal statements and supplemental essays are essential for this role.,
