You are looking for a passionate and experienced English Literature Teacher to join the middle and high school faculty at Sankalp Digital Pathshala in Salemgarh - Kushinagar(U.P). As an English Teacher for grades 6 to 10, your role will involve inspiring students to deeply engage with classic and contemporary literature, enhancing critical thinking and writing skills, and instilling a lifelong love for reading. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging lessons following the school's English curriculum, teaching literary analysis, creative writing, essay composition, and grammar. You will be expected to foster open discussions that encourage diverse perspectives on literary texts, create and assess assignments, projects, and exams fairly and effectively, and support students in developing reading comprehension and analytical writing skills. Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment is essential, along with regular communication with parents and staff on student progress. Participation in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions is also required. To qualify for this position, you need a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, English, or a related field (a Master's degree is preferred), along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification. Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level, strong classroom management and communication skills, and a passion for literature, student engagement, and education. Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum, experience in integrating technology and creative methodologies into teaching, and the ability to mentor students in literary competitions or debates are desirable qualities.
