About the role We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) products and network communications systems. You will be responsible for producing precise schematics, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and network diagrams used in the manufacturing, installation, and operation of BESS products and systems. This role involves close collaboration with electrical engineers, project managers, and field technicians to ensure high-quality, code-compliant, and field-ready designs. What you will do Create and revise detailed electrical drawings including: One-line diagrams Wiring schematics Network diagrams Port-level diagrams Communication flow diagrams Protection diagrams Rack elevation drawings Review and provide feedback on drawings produced by subcontractors including: Conduit and cable schedules Grounding and interconnection drawings Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure designs align with project specifications and compliance standards (e.g., NEC, UL 9540, NFPA 70, IEC, AS 3000). Incorporate markups and feedback from engineers, installers, and QA teams. Organize drawing packages for submittals, permitting, and construction. Maintain drawing and document control through revision management and file organization. Work with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, network, mechanical) on integrated system designs.
