As a Contract Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for independently handling and executing CAE activities, specifically focusing on component-level simulation for safety systems like steering wheels. Your expertise in tools such as HyperMesh, Abaqus, and LS-Dyna will be crucial for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute meshing and simulation projects with minimal guidance, taking full ownership. - Ensure first-time quality and on-time delivery of tasks and projects. - Learn and adopt new tools, processes, and methods to enhance diverse tasks. - Provide simulation support and foster collaboration between Technical Centers (TCs) for steering wheel simulation activities. - Perform conclusive analysis of test and simulation results to suggest improvements. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously with high quality and efficiency. - Support different ALV sites by working in various shifts as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - 13 years of relevant CAE experience in the automotive domain. - Strong fundamentals, analytical ability, and engineering basics. - Proficiency in pre-processors like HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, ESI Tools, and Primer. - Basic experience in Abaqus/LS-Dyna (Implicit & Explicit analysis). - Good communication skills and a team-player attitude. - Quick learner with adaptability to changing business scenarios and shift work. In addition to the core responsibilities, you will provide design improvement solutions through CAE approaches, support and maintain robust processes/methods to achieve first-time quality and on-time deliverables. Your educational background should include a B.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering, along with certifications or trainings related to CAE software. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of Kannada and Hindi is desirable. Your willingness to adapt to changing business scenarios and work in shifts will be essential for success in this role.,
