You will be joining an advanced-technology scale-up company operating at the intersection of Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Semiconductor Engineering. The company's hardware division is focused on designing full-stack enterprise quantum computers that encompass superconducting processors, cryogenic control electronics, and RF instrumentation to drive innovations in various sectors such as life sciences, finance, transportation, and space exploration. As a Quantum Device Experimentalist, your primary responsibilities will include designing and conducting quantum-device experiments, ranging from cryogenic fixture design to automated data acquisition for superconducting-qubit characterization. You will develop and refine protocols for measuring coherence times, gate fidelities, and performing quantum-state/process tomography, and integrate these findings into device design enhancements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing cryogenic measurement stacks and microwave-RF chains to ensure high-quality data collection with minimal noise interference. Your role will also involve implementing data pipelines using Python/MATLAB to process raw traces into meaningful metrics and dashboards for cross-functional teams. Collaboration with quantum-processor, control-electronics, and theory groups will be essential to correlate empirical results with simulations and expedite the design-of-experiments cycles. Furthermore, documenting methodologies, publishing findings, and contributing to the roadmap for next-generation, fault-tolerant quantum processors will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must hold an MSc/MTech/PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum technologies. Hands-on experience in designing cryogenic or microwave testbeds and conducting quantum measurements on superconducting qubits or similar platforms is crucial. A solid grasp of circuit QED and error-correction concepts relevant to superconducting hardware is required, along with proficiency in Python (NumPy/Pandas/Matplotlib) or MATLAB for data analysis and instrument control. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset suitable for fast-paced R&D environments are essential. Preferred qualifications for this role include a track record of peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations in quantum technology, experience in writing DoE-driven analysis reports, familiarity with cold-atom or spin-qubit platforms, and knowledge of error-mitigation/bosonic-code techniques with practical implementation. Exposure to clean-room fabrication workflows, contributions to open-source quantum-measurement tooling, or instrument-control libraries would be advantageous. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the company's location. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact the employer at +91 9008078505.,
