As the Operational Excellence Manager in the Dairy industry located in Shrirampur, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the dairy manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency by implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and best practices. By reducing waste, improving processes, and fostering a culture of operational excellence, you will contribute to the overall success of the plant. Your key responsibilities will include leading and implementing continuous improvement strategies across various departments such as production, quality, maintenance, and logistics. You will analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve yields. Facilitating Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen events will be essential in driving these improvements. Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and training plant personnel in continuous improvement methodologies are also crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will support digital transformation and automation projects, champion safety and quality improvements aligned with industry regulations, and identify bottlenecks in milk reception, processing, and packaging to optimize throughput. Monitoring utility usage and driving sustainability projects will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of dairy processing and manufacturing operations, proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools, as well as a data-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Leadership, team facilitation abilities, and proficiency in ERP/MES systems, Excel, and production analytics tools are also key skills required. An understanding of GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements in the dairy industry is essential. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in dairy technology with at least 5 years of experience in dairy or food manufacturing, including a minimum of 2 years in a continuous improvement or operational excellence role. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), TPM, or equivalent will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role effectively.,

The role of Manufacturing Design Engineer at our organization in Chamarajanagar is a crucial one that involves bridging the gap between product design and manufacturing, with a specific focus on automation-driven consumer products. As a highly skilled and motivated individual, you will be instrumental in various aspects of New Product Development (NPD), process engineering, tooling & fixture design, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing excellence through Lean and Quality Management Systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with customers, R&D, and product design teams to ensure the manufacturability of new products. You will provide feedback on Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA) and implement changes to enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and scalability. Additionally, you will be involved in the end-to-end process of New Product Development, from concept to production launch. In the realm of manufacturing process development, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and optimizing automated manufacturing processes. This will involve creating and maintaining process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and flow diagrams. Moreover, you will be responsible for enhancing assembly lines, production cells, and automation systems. As part of your role, you will design and validate jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production, ensuring precision, repeatability, and ease of use in high-volume production settings. Collaboration with vendors and internal machine shops for the development and validation of tooling will also be a key aspect of the job. When it comes to troubleshooting and support, you will be required to identify the root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will address equipment, tooling, or process-related problems and provide real-time technical assistance to production teams. Your role will also involve driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, as well as leading continuous improvement projects to boost productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. Standardization and the promotion of best practices across manufacturing operations will be essential components of your responsibilities. In terms of Quality Management Systems, you will apply various quality tools and ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards. Participation in internal and external audits, as well as involvement in quality improvement initiatives, will be expected. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, along with 10-20 years of relevant experience in an automated manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in NPD, cross-functional product launch teams, and knowledge of critical processes such as CIRA, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP are essential. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and familiarity with automation technologies and robotics will be advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with knowledge of ERP/MES systems and manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
