The Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) Technical Analyst position at Emerson involves collaborating on the design, implementation, and support of business solutions within the GTM instance. This role also encompasses working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to enhance Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) initiatives. As the Technical Analyst, you will utilize your expertise in GTM/OTM to contribute to the ongoing improvement and support of SCO functionalities. Your responsibilities in this role include providing support for the GTM/OTM application, such as break/fix solutions, enhancements, testing, and monitoring. You will work on various GTM functions like restricted party screening, item classification, and ERP-GTM integration projects. Additionally, you will assist in program requirements evaluation and mapping, collaborate with Trade Compliance and ERP IT Program/Project Managers, and participate in program rollout activities. Furthermore, you will collaborate with 3rd-party technical personnel to optimize technical solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal Technical Team members. Monitoring processes, analyzing data, and ensuring SCO system documentation completeness are also crucial aspects of this role. The position requires effective teamwork in a global, highly matrixed environment. To excel in this role, you are expected to demonstrate initiative, keen observation, effective prioritization, and a drive to see tasks through completion. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 8 years of experience in developing and supporting Oracle GTM/OTM solutions. Functional and technical expertise in GTM, familiarity with OTM, hands-on experience with issue resolution, and knowledge of logistics management principles are essential for this role. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in diverse global project teams, meticulous problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in data analysis are also key qualifications. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. The position may require some travel.
