As an Operations Manager in the Dispatch department at Katyayani Organics located in Bhopal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the dispatch operations. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, coordinating logistics, supervising the dispatch team, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Additionally, you will define and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the team while producing detailed reports. Your primary focus will be on operations management by supervising inventory levels, logistics coordination, and order fulfillment processes. You will need to optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Leading and mentoring the dispatch team to ensure high performance and quality standards adherence will also be a key aspect of your role. Defining KRAs and KPIs for team members and closely monitoring their performance will be essential in maintaining operational excellence. Managing end-to-end order fulfillment processes, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring accurate and timely customer order processing will be part of your daily tasks. Maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with procurement and suppliers to ensure a seamless supply chain are crucial for effective inventory management. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed reports on operational performance, including order processing times, inventory levels, and dispatch accuracy. Analyzing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures will be essential for operational enhancement. Proficiency in various software tools for inventory management, reporting, and process optimization is required to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Your role will involve managing day-to-day functions of delivery, simplifying complex operational structures, and preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Accounts, will be necessary to ensure seamless operations. Clear and proactive communication to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflows will be key in your role. The preferred candidate profile for this position includes a BE/B.Tech from a premier institute, a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Operations/Logistics, preferably in a fast-moving startup environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Zoho/SAP or related tools are required. Being a self-starter with a commitment to continuous improvement, exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and comfort with the Bhopal location are essential for success in this role.
