This role requires proficiency in both manual and automation testing techniques and aims to assist the Product Quality team in transitioning towards automated testing. As a Sr. Software Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include running automated test scripts, prioritizing use cases for scripting, contributing to code reviews, writing test scripts, and conducting manual testing through exploratory methods to identify defects beyond standard use cases. You will collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and Development teams to ensure testability of requirements, communicate test plans, report testing progress and defects, and assist in defect troubleshooting. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements and promoting quality practices across all teams. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in test development, manual, and automation testing. Knowledge of quality best practices, software testing methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD tools is essential. Familiarity with relational databases, SQL language, C#/.NET ecosystem, ERP programs, SaaS, and tools like Jira/Confluence and qTest is preferred.
