Job Description We are seeking a Lead - Business Systems Services to contribute meaningfully to planning, analysis, reporting, and strategy in support of our rapidly growing organization. This is a unique role where the person will partner with FP&A through the lens of a financial and data system administrator and be responsible for maintaining and adopting system improvements. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Systems Services. Role and Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Freshworks financial planning systems with emphasis on Workday Adaptive Planning Oversee system integrations to ensure they align with the companys HRIS (Workday) and ERP (NetSuite) systems. Provide business support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and work closely with internal teams to resolve operational concerns. Monitor system performance, manage database backups, and ensure the availability and security of financial data. Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and training materials for end-users. Assist in the development and generation of financial reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support decision-making. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in financial systems administration with hands-on experience managing Adaptive Planning Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and internal controls. Proficient in database management, system integration, and data migration techniques. Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting software. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Knowledge of data security protocols, user access controls, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing effective strategies to ensure timely customer payments, reduce outstanding balances, and maintain healthy cash flow. This role requires a proactive candidate with a strong understanding of usage and consumption-based billing models and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be catering to the US (EST) timezone . The Impact You Will Have Monitor and manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Billing, Legal, and Credit Risk teams to align on strategies for delinquent accounts and ensure compliance with company credit policy. Collaborate with the Cash Application team to resolve unapplied cash and ensure the timely posting of payments. Analyse customer accounts and payment trends to identify risks, systemic issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Drive structured escalation for high-risk/delinquent accounts, including coordination with legal or third-party agencies as needed. Develop, maintain, and automate reports/dashboards on key KPIs (DSO, CEI, Unapplied Cash) and present insights to management. Leverage ERP (NetSuite), CRM (SFDC), and BI/analytics tools to manage accounts and track collections performance. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support resolution and long-term partnership. What We Look For Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 5+ years of collections experience, ideally in both public and high-growth technology/SaaS companies. Proven track record managing high-volume, complex AR transactions in a global environment. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas); strong ability to analyse large datasets and perform reconciliations. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce CPQ); exposure to billing platforms such as FinancialForce or Metronome is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy with deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence cross-functional partners and engage directly with customers. Continuous improvement mindset with openness to adopting new technologies and processes. This position will be catering to the US (EST) timezone.
