The role of Accommodation & Usage (Ergonomics) PAT Engineer- CAD N Level in Tata Motors involves evaluating the ergonomic aspects, vehicle accommodation details, stowage aspects, and requirements of the vehicle digitally and physically. The primary objective is to compare these aspects with benchmarks, ensuring process consistency, and alignment with all PAT requirements. To qualify for this role, the candidate must have a minimum education qualification of a Degree/Diploma in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of work experience. Expertise in Digital Ergonomics and occupant comfort assessments using CATIA is essential, along with knowledge of Ergonomic Software, preferably RAMSIS. A thorough understanding of Ergonomics, SAE J1100 dimensions, ECE & AIS standards/test procedures, automotive component and occupant packaging requirements is required. The candidate should also be able to grasp end customer requirements and translate them into engineering aspects, providing innovative inputs during concept building.
