Description
As an Erection Supervisor for the erection of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) at industrial sites in Pune, your role involves overseeing the structural assembly process, crane coordination, and team leadership. You will review structural drawings, erection plans, and material checklists to ensure the successful installation of columns, rafters, bracings, and roof/wall sheeting. Your responsibilities also include planning daily tasks with the foreman and crane operator, ensuring proper torching and leveling of bolted connections, leading rigging and alignment of critical components, troubleshooting erection challenges on-site, and enforcing safety protocols such as working at heights and lifting safety. Additionally, you will coordinate with client engineers and quality inspectors, maintain daily progress reports, and issue logs. Key Responsibilities: - Review structural drawings, erection plans, and material checklists - Supervise installation of columns, rafters, bracings, and roof/wall sheeting - Plan daily tasks with the foreman and crane operator - Ensure proper torching and leveling of bolted connections - Lead the rigging and alignment of critical components - Troubleshoot on-site erection challenges (misalignments, fit-up) - Ensure safety protocols (working at heights, lifting safety) are followed - Coordinate with client engineers and quality inspectors - Maintain daily progress reports and issue logs Qualifications: - ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering (preferred) - 5+ years of experience in PEB or structural steel erection - Knowledge of safety standards, PPE, and working at heights - Proficient in reading PEB erection & GA drawings - Ability to handle a crew of 20-40 site workers - Strong communication and decision-making skills Please note that accommodation is provided and included in the contract for Welders (5 positions available, 24000 per month salary), Fitters (4 positions available, 20000 per month salary), and Helpers (10 positions available, 14000 per month salary).
