Job Description

Position Title: Equipment Status Memorandum (ESM) & Cost Trending Owner Function/Department: Engineering projects Level: Contractor Reports To: Project manager Business Purpose Position Objective: Responsible for ensuring the status of all purchase orders, delivery dates and associated timeline and capital spending management through the use of appropriate systems and documents (ESM, change managements and E-Capital) Key Responsibilities Responsible for developing and maintaining the ESM document that tracks every equipment with delivery dates and spending planResponsible for maintaining the capital spending plan as per commitment by ensuring timely ordering of equipment (informing the scope owners of expected timeline and risk) Collaborate with scope owners and vendors to track the equipment and update the payment schedule in E-trending system Ensuring change management process is followed by scope owners for any schedule change or cost changes as per the original cost estimate, financial forecast and scheduleWork with the schedule owner to update the overall program timeline Eligibility CriteriaEducation B.Tech/MBA in Supply Chain and/or Construction Experience 7+ years of experience in ideally FMCG company managing timeline, capital, procurement etc. Has experience in Project Management Skills RequirementsKnowledge & Skills Knows how to operate SAP for capital management, Excel, MS ProjectsHands on experience manufacturing processExperience of past greenfield or brownfield projects Influence & System Ownership Able to influence vendors and scope owners to ensure timely delivery of equipment and to take associated priority calls to maintain commitments. Demonstrates executional leadership to conduct disciplined reviews in area of ownership (such as in ES KEA, daily meetings with vendors and site stakeholder s monthly / DDS team meetings, Standard Work, etc.) Problem solving & Innovation Demonstrates ability to connect dots and understand impact of each decision on the ESM, capital and schedule management Ddemonstrates capability to eliminate losses in systems and recommend solutions for effective management of project Interaction Scope Will need to work with multiple vendors to keep a track of timeline of deliveries and paymentsWork with multiple project stakeholders to understand the consequences of equipment delay and interaction between eachDemonstrates and trains team (can be contractors) to work on SAP, E-Capital etc. Internal/External Interaction: Site Utility team, Project contractors, external authorities, and other P&G sites for project purpose Digital Skills Effectively use MS tools i.e., Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook in day-to-day operation Knowledge of MS Project and SAP and willingness and patience to learn new client systems of E-Capital
