Joining: Immediately SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, your primary role will be the design of the productive process; undertaking operational analysis, work design and methods engineering and, where appropriate reviewing opportunities for simplification of tasks for improved effectiveness. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The identification and/or generation of all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment. Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. Identification of subsequent changes to manufacturing and assembly drawings as necessary. Optimization of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity. Providing assistance in the assembly and maintenance of engineering and other technical files. Actively promote process improvement to ensure compliance to industry standards and regulations and to secure the future business position in the market place. Attend meetings and contribute to project/production design review. Assist in developing layout and material flow plans Actively participate in cross-functional improvement team efforts Interface with product engineering, customers, and suppliers to develop prototype and production parts. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of this position Analise, provide specifications and perform acquisition for new or replacement machine tools Perform process improvement activities to reduce material and machining cost Support cost down/continuous improvement activities as defined by engineering Manage all engineering changes. Working on New Product Development. Co-ordinate with the vendors and other department regarding work. Resolve the problems while occur in the manufacturing process. Reading of the drawing and correct. Collection and Maintain the data related to the development of product. Should have knowledge of product assembly. QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma Mechanical/BE Mechanical EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 - 2 years work experience Knowledge of machined component drawings an advantage ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology. Engineering Knowledge, product assembly knowledge. Awareness about the Machining processes, tolerances etc. Knowledge about welding process. Awareness about the Bearing, Gear box, Motors etc. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES .
