Role & responsibilities The role involves the design and detailing of civil and structural components of AIS/GIS substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Preferred candidate profile Prepare civil and structural designs for AIS/GIS substations (ranging from 220kV to 765kV). Design of equipment foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, fencing, drainage systems, and roads. Generate and review structural drawings, layout plans, BOQs, and construction drawings. Perform structural analysis using software like STAAD Pro, ETABS, etc. Coordinate with electrical and structural teams to integrate civil designs with overall substation layout. Support site execution teams with technical guidance and resolve civil design-related issues. Ensure compliance with IS codes, IEC standards, and project specifications. Participate in technical reviews, client meetings, and design approvals.
