Position Summary: The BNG Integration Engineer will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and optimization of BNG systems within our network. This role requires extensive knowledge of BNG technology, network protocols, and integration processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable network solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. implement, and integrate BNG systems into the existing network infrastructure, Develop and execute integration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to network services. 2. Coordinate with network architects, engineers, and operations teams to ensure successful BNG deployments. 3. Configure BNG devices, including setting up subscriber management, authentication, and policy enforcement , Manage IP addressing, DHCP configurations, and routing protocols relevant to BNG operations. 4. Perform pre- and post-integration testing to ensure system stability and performance, Validate the integration through rigorous testing scenarios and troubleshoot any issues that arise. 5. Document integration processes, configurations, and network changes. Provide detailed reports on integration progress, challenges, and outcomes 6. Optimize BNG configurations to enhance performance and reliability, Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BNG systems, Assist in the development of troubleshooting procedures and technical support guidelines 7. Work closely with other network design engineers, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration success. 8. Train operations and support teams on BNG functionalities and integration procedures. Qualifications : Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. Location : Bangalore and Gurgaon Experience: 1.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on BNG systems. 2.Proven experience in integrating and managing BNG devices from vendors like Nokia, Cisco, Juniper etc. 3.Hands-on experience with network protocols and technologies, including PPPoE, IPoE, DHCP, and RADIUS. Technical Skills: 1.Strong understanding of BNG architecture and subscriber management. 2.Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting BNG systems. 3.Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. Soft Skills: 1.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 2.Strong communication and documentation skills. 3.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4.Attention to detail and commitment to quality. You will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of FTTx networks with a deep understanding of OTDR, EPON, and GPON technologies. This role will require you to design, implement, and maintain FTTx infrastructure using EPON/GPON technologies. You will perform OTDR testing, fiber splicing, and fault localization to ensure optimal network performance. Additionally, you will be tasked with planning fiber routes, preparing technical documentation, and managing fiber assignments. It will be your responsibility to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for fiber optic networks, analyze fiber signal performance using OTDR and power meters, and monitor and troubleshoot last-mile fiber connectivity issues. Your role will also involve working closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project coordination. You must ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while maintaining accurate records of fiber routes, splicing diagrams, and testing reports. Furthermore, you will assist in network expansion, fiber upgrade projects, and capacity planning to support the organization's growth. To excel in this position, you must hold a Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field and have at least 2 years of experience in fiber optic network deployment and maintenance. Proficiency in OTDR testing and analysis, hands-on experience with EPON/GPON technologies, and familiarity with fiber splicing tools and fiber route management are essential requirements. Additionally, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and fiber schematics, and a willingness to work in the field and travel when required.
