Our client is a leading global supplier of generic APIs for human and animal health who is looking for a VP of Sales to grow the market in India. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals. Set and monitor sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets. Identify and prioritize sales opportunities based on market analysis. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Work with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities. Ensure compliance with sales policies and regulations. Manage key accounts and major deals. Represent the company at industry events to promote brand awareness. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; master's degree is a plus. At least 10 years of experience in the API market Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a senior sales leadership role. Strong leadership and team management skills.
