Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Location: Sanand, Gujarat Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2-4 Years MUST: Component selection for MCC panels, PCC panels, APFC panels, automation panels In-depth knowledge: Rectifier, Inverter & UPS system Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in electrical panel design, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge in power electronics, including IGBT, MOSFET, AC-DC converters, and DC-DC converters, and be proficient in using AutoCAD for design purposes. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Panel Design: Develop and design electrical panels for various industrial applications in compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. BOM Creation: Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for electrical panel components, ensuring accurate part identification and cost estimation. Technical Documentation: Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and project reports. Power Electronics: Apply basic knowledge of power electronics to support the design of converters, inverters, and power management systems. Component Selection: Identify and select appropriate components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, transformers, capacitors, etc.) for use in power electronics systems. Design Verification: Ensure that all designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards through testing and analysis. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely project completion. AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD software to create precise electrical panel designs and layout drawings. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations to recommend improvements to existing designs and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel design, BOM creation, and technical documentation. Power Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of power electronics concepts, including IGBT, MOSFET, AC-DC converters, DC-DC converters, etc. AutoCAD Proficiency : Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD for creating electrical designs. Electrical Components: Knowledge of electrical components, wiring, circuit breakers, relays, and transformers. Technical Documentation: Ability to create detailed technical documentation and electrical schematics. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors. Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience with design software other than AutoCAD, such as EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical. Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry codes (IEC, UL, etc.) related to electrical panel design. Experience in prototyping and testing electrical systems.
