The role at Lincoln Electric in Pune is for a PLC Programmer who will be responsible for meeting and understanding client requirements for electrical and mechanical needs. The key responsibilities include designing and drafting EPLAN drawings, site installation as a project engineer, reading and interpreting logical flow diagrams, explaining the operation of electrical components to clients, writing PLC programs using automation software, preparing instructional documents for device usage and safety, testing the program for reliability, troubleshooting system faults, supervising program installation, providing guidance and support to Technicians, offering training to team members, maintaining PLC programs, creating new PLC, Servo VFD, SCADA, and HMI programs, assisting in part procurement, and collaborating with the Engineering and Production teams. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, experience in fault finding, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. The individual will be responsible for writing PLC programs for automation equipment, installing programs with Technicians, and testing system efficiency as required on-site.
