As a Technology Director in the Cyber Security function at Wells Fargo, you will play a crucial leadership role in the Application Security Program. Your primary responsibility will be to prevent the introduction of unmanaged risks through code changes, thereby enhancing the security posture of the enterprise. In this role, you will manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads, focusing on delivering commitments aligned with enterprise strategic priorities. You will work on building support for strategies with business and technology leaders, guiding the development of actionable roadmaps and plans, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of software engineering practices. Your oversight will extend to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third-party providers. You will identify financial management and strategic resourcing, set risk management guidelines, and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Additionally, you will develop strategies for hiring engineering talent, lead the implementation of projects, and encourage engineering innovation. Collaborating and influencing professionals at all levels, including more experienced managers, will be a key aspect of your role. You will lead the team to achieve objectives, interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, or industry forums, and manage the allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership. Required qualifications for this role include 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education, along with 4+ years of management experience. Desired qualifications encompass 18+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or information systems, and one or more professional certifications like CSSLP, CISM, or CISSP. You should also have expertise in application security engineering/implementation, managing specialized application security engineers, working with security products like Checkmarx, Fortify, Appscan, etc., and experience in DevSecOps and automation. In this role, you will lead the Application Security Program team in India, enhance the application security posture of the enterprise, drive the application security roadmap in alignment with enterprise priorities, and ensure quality delivery within the function. You will also mentor engineers and managers, demonstrate a strong understanding of risk and controls, lead people management activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve results. This position requires superior attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, secure coding standards, and the latest development trends in API, Container, and Cloud technologies. Your ability to communicate findings, solutions, and recommendations to a wide audience of stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.,
