Description
As an Epic Reporting and BI Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare IT environment by utilizing your expertise in Epic Systems, particularly Epic Caboodle and Epic Cogito. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and managing Epic reports for various Epic modules such as Caboodle and Cogito. - Acting as the primary point of contact for clinicians and end-users to address technical challenges related to Epic systems. - Identifying, documenting, and escalating complex issues to senior support teams when necessary. - Collaborating with IT, data analysts, and clinical stakeholders to ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of Epic applications. - Assisting in system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes to enhance user experience. - Supporting data extraction, reporting, and analytics using Epic Cogito and Caboodle for timely and accurate delivery of healthcare data. - Staying updated with Epic best practices, providing training and guidance to end-users as needed. - Monitoring system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues that could disrupt clinical workflows. - Adhering to ITIL service management practices, including incident, problem, and change management. - Documenting troubleshooting procedures and creating knowledge base articles to improve service desk efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Epic Systems in a support or analyst capacity. - Strong proficiency in Epic Caboodle and Epic Cogito, with experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and reporting. - Familiarity with Epic's clinical modules and their impact on patient care workflows. - Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms. - Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Epic systems. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. - Epic certifications in relevant modules are highly preferred. - Experience in Data Modelling, Data Warehouse, SQL Server Integration Services, and SQL Server Reporting Services. Preferred qualifications may include: - Experience in a healthcare IT setting or supporting clinical service desks. - Knowledge of IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira. - Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
