As an Electrical Design Engineer at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, you will be responsible for all electrical design functions within the Oil & Gas Division. Your primary tasks will include preparing MTO for EPC tenders, reviewing design engineering drawings, and documents, as well as preparing complete electrical materials MR & MTO of Electrical Bulk Items. You will also be involved in reviewing vendor documents, preparing TBA & TQ before ordering, and finalizing electrical equipment sizing such as earthing calculation, cables sizing calculation, panels feeder details, electrical load list, area calcification, equipment & lighting layout drawings. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an engineering & vendor documents tracker and providing basic technical support to resolve issues raised during construction activities. Collaboration with all project engineering members, inter-departmental alignment, and coordination with external contractors are crucial aspects of this role. You will also coordinate with vendors (OEM) for document closure, liaise with clients and consultants for technical clarification and approval of documents/drawings, and provide technical assistance to the site team. To qualify for this position, you should hold a graduate degree in engineering and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are essential for success in this role.,
