You should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Static equipment design, specifically focusing on pressure vessels for Refineries, Gas equipment, etc. Your responsibilities will include utilizing software such as PV Elite, Nozzle PRO, COMPRESS, AutoCAD, and performing various calculations using Excel sheets for tasks like Lifting, Transportation saddle, Welded Support clips, Lugs, etc. You must have a strong understanding and practical experience with ASME Codes, PMC/Licensors/EPC Specification, and Industrial Standards such as API, NACE, among others. Your duties will involve reviewing fabrication drawings, Material procurement drawings, and preparation of Mechanical design calculation reports and Material requirement sheets. Additionally, you will be expected to interpret client specifications, create Technical open item lists, and specification summary sheets. You will also be responsible for preparing ARMs (Technical specifications) for material ordering in adherence to the ASME Code and applicable project specifications for items like Plates, forgings, Pipes, Fittings, etc. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate with ASME AI/PE for approval on design documents, liaise with clients for technical issues and document approvals, and provide technical support to fabrication shops as required.
