• Microbial process development: Mass multiplication, Media optimisation, Growth parameter optimisation and process optimization of Bacterial, Fungal & Yeast culture through shake flask, Lab scale, pilot and large industrial scale fermenters studies up to 300KL capacity. • Microbial techniques: Morphological identification, Biochemical analysis, characterization of isolate, Environmental monitoring, Efficacy of Strain, Optical Density, Carbon estimation and stability of biologicals. • handling bioreactors/fermenters on pilot scale & small-scale operations through Actuation control panels (PLC) & HMI software (SCADA). Experience of handling Inoculation, feeding, Sampling, Harvest and microbial analysis of pilot as well as small scale fermenters. Experience of handling trails run & Validation of production (Up to 300KL) scale fermenters for new technology transfer. • Experience of various scale fermenter operations (up to 300KL industrial fermenters) includes Assembling, Sterilization, Operations and Scale-up/ Scale-Down (Agitation, Aeration, Batch time, process optimization etc.) of fermenters. • Experience of Industrial scale 2nd generation ethanol production from different biomass like bagasse, wheat straw, etc. (Xylose fermentation technology) • Experience of process optimization through DOE (Design of experiments) and correlation of response from designed experiment. Also, analysis of response, results, variation and interpretation of data basis on quality by design. • Experience of process optimizations like handling CIP (Clean in place), SIP (Steam in place), DO2 Calibration, DO2 Polarisation, pH calibration of fermenters, pressure limit test, filter integrity test of Lab scale as well as Pilot scale fermenters. • Troubleshooting Activities: (both onsite & offsite) of fuel ethanol fermentation processes (both grain & molasses based), expertise in generating ideas and consequently developing POC and produce results, excellent team leader, excellent at analytical method development & analysis.
