Company Description The Environmental Resources Foundation (ERF) is a not-for-profit organization founded in October 2011, promoted by Emergent Ventures India Pvt. Ltd. ERF focuses on accelerating sustainable living by integrating innovative solutions in technology, policy, and finance. Working closely with a number of well-known corporates and programs, ERF is involved in projects related to Clean Energy, Water, Sustainable Agriculture, and Waste Management. ERF is at present supporting a model project on nature based, regenerative farming solutions and scaling up using a digital platform. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive in Organic Farming and Plantations, located in Tirunelveli. The farm is 12 acres and is being developed for high desnity farming of wood, herbs, fruits and vegetables using organic and natural farming practices. Significant infrastructure and plantation activitiy has already happened since Jan 2025. Over 3-5 years the development will be scaled to 100 acres in surrounding areas using company's own land and then to other farmers across India using cooperative structures . The Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily agricultural operations, implementing organic farming practices, procuring inputs and establishing relationships with product buyers . The job includes planning and executing sustainable farming techniques, monitoring crop health, managing soil and nutrient levels, and supervising farm workers. The role also involves coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability standards. Skills in crop planning, soil management, and pescontrol Ability to manage plantation operations and labor workforce Experience with agricultural machinery and tools Strong project management and organizational skills Good communication and team collaboration skills - Tamil, English Bacelor's degree in Agriculture, Sustainable Farming, or related fields. Commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship Preference would be given to those candidates who have understanding of digital technologies and have organic farming experience specially in fruits and vegetables.
