Entry Marketing and Proposal Specialist

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Level Marketing & Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by assisting in various marketing activities. Your responsibilities will include drafting, assembling, and producing proposals, presentations, reports, statements of qualification, resumes, project descriptions, and other marketing materials with close supervision to ensure compliance with production schedules. You will also support projects for other communications staff. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, typing, editing, and proofreading copy for marketing materials. Additionally, you will assist more senior writers on marketing projects and may have the opportunity to write copy of a basic and routine nature. Researching related qualifications and experience information from the firm's databases for marketing purposes will be an essential part of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for entering data and maintaining accurate databases to support marketing and promotional activities. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience. A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is highly desirable. Excellent command of grammar and spelling, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role. You should also be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and be willing to go beyond the standard work hours if required. Travel requirements for this position are minimal, with no expected travel.
