As a Manager/Sr. Manager/Team Lead in the US TAX department at FinAdvantage, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality professional services to a diverse client base. FinAdvantage is a technology-powered organization with a presence in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, and Chicago, offering services in finance, accounting, consulting, and taxation. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage complex tax compliance and advisory services for clients. This will involve working with various tax forms such as Form 1040 (Individual), 1041 (Estates & Trusts), 1065 (Partnerships), 1120 (C Corporations), 1120S (S Corporations), and 990 (Nonprofits). You should have hands-on experience in handling IRS/state tax notices, tax planning, and entity dissolutions. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for Individuals (1040), Estates & Trusts (1041), Corporations (1120, 1120S), Partnerships (1065), and Nonprofit organizations (990). - Review complex tax filings for accuracy and compliance, prepared by staff. - Provide support during IRS and state audits, respond to tax notices, and represent clients before tax authorities. - Conduct tax research, offer guidance on tax law changes, and develop tax strategies. - Manage entity dissolutions, including filings and final tax returns. - Implement tax-efficient strategies for clients and coordinate with clients and internal teams for documentation. - Mentor and supervise junior staff and tax preparers, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. - Maintain strong client relationships and provide quality service. Requirements: - CPA license required (or EA with significant experience). - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
