ValueMomentum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining various business applications leveraging Guidewire Enterprise Engage. As a Senior Engineer at ValueMomentum, you will contribute to and direct the efforts of development teams, both internal and external. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications and micro frontends using the Guidewire Jutro platform, particularly for the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. You will also leverage the Jutro design system to create consistent and branded user interfaces. Additionally, you will determine the root cause of complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions. You will assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling, as well as mentor Software Engineers to enhance their skill and knowledge development. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and management, staying on the leading edge of development practices. Requirements: - Hands-on experience in web applications and micro frontends using the Guidewire Jutro platform - Proficiency in Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, and JSON - Experience with ReactJS using React hooks and NodeJS - Familiarity with Jutro SDK and Cloud APIs to build & maintain digital experiences - Experience working with server-side technologies like JSON/RPC, REST, etc. - Experience in the Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal lines of business - Good conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills - Deep insight into the SDLC and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies - Excellent oral and written communication skills Good To Have: - Strong understanding of Guidewire Jutro user experience framework - Guidewire Certification preferred - Awareness of Cloud Implementation is beneficial - Experience working in Agile preferred ValueMomentum offers a congenial work environment with a competitive compensation package, career advancement opportunities, comprehensive training and certification programs, and performance management practices that include goal setting, continuous feedback, and recognition for extraordinary performers.,
