The Analyst, ICM - Infrastructure Finance and Clean Energy Finance Underwriting role focuses on covering large and complex products globally, managing the credit review process, and delivering top-notch credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration in partnership with the Risk and Banking teams to ensure the safety and soundness of wholesale lending across ICM. As an Analyst in this position, you will be responsible for a portfolio of IF and CEF Relationships. Your key responsibilities include conducting credit risk analysis for these relationships, continuous monitoring of the portfolio, producing Annual and Quarterly Reviews, supporting Ad-Hoc Transactions, and engaging in Portfolio & Industry Reviews and Stress Testing. You are expected to have a profound understanding of credit risk, Citi's internal policies, industry fundamentals, and be capable of engaging in insightful conversations with Risk and Banking partners. Your main responsibilities will include assessing the credit and financial strength of Citis IF and CEF clients through fundamental credit analysis, preparing Credit Analysis Write-up Memos, Final Obligor Risk Ratings, and maintaining compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory practices. Additionally, you will be required to continuously monitor the covered portfolio, run financial modeling of clients, review risk ratings, and ensure adherence to internal and external audit requirements. To excel in this role, you should possess well-developed analytical skills, the ability to form independent opinions on credit, advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting, and a solid understanding of Credit Policy and procedures. Leadership qualities such as commitment, positive attitude, adaptability to change, and professionalism are highly valued. Effective interpersonal skills, solid organizational abilities, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and experience with Financial Modeling are essential competencies for this position.
