Job Description

As a Software Developer at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the software development process. You will read, analyze, and understand product requirements, actively participate in story grooming, and contribute to design documentation and reviews. Your responsibilities will also include designing and developing features with the highest quality, learning and understanding software standards for Medical devices, and collaborating with internal and external partners. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities: - Read, analyze, and understand product requirements - Actively participate in story grooming - Contribute to design documentation and reviews - Design and develop features with highest quality - Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices - Collaborate with internal and external partners - Mentor junior team members Qualifications Required: - 4 to 7.10 years of industry experience in Software Desktop Development - Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering - Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, WPF - Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Visual Studio, Git, Perforce - Experience in Windows is mandatory - Experience with software unit testing and continuous integration implementations - Familiarity with Agile software development methods - Good logical and reasoning skills - Ability to work on cross-functional project teams - Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice to Haves: - Design/develop experience working with regulated medical devices - Experience working within a regulated environment - Experience with software version control tools - Quality focus, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability In addition to a competitive salary, Medtronic offers a flexible benefits package and a commitment to employee well-being.
