As a highly experienced Technology Engineer specializing in SAS Administration (both SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya), you will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and securing SAS platforms for our growing technology team in Bengaluru. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and overseeing SAS platforms to meet business requirements, ensuring system performance, compliance, and availability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as data scientists, analysts, and infrastructure teams will be essential to support analytics and data integration projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement SAS solutions in alignment with business and technical needs. - Deploy, configure, and maintain SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments. - Monitor system performance, logs, and processes to identify and resolve issues proactively. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for performance and system failures. - Ensure compliance with internal security policies through encryption, authentication, and access control implementation. - Perform regular security audits and apply necessary patches. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, deployments, and operational procedures. - Provide training and user support for SAS applications and tools. - Collaborate with IT teams and business units on SAS-related projects, data integration, and reporting. Technical Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a SAS Administrator handling SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya. - Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows OS environments. - Strong knowledge of tools such as SAS Grid Manager, SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide, and SAS Visual Analytics. - Experience deploying SAS Viya on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Familiarity with database connectivity and ETL processes - Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, Hadoop. Soft Skills: - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. - Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
