Job Description Designation : Senior Manager/AGM Department : Business Development Location : Mumbai Education : Graduation/ B.E. , MBA Experience : Minimum 10 - 15 Years I. Responsibility Drive complete BD lifecycle from lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, to contract closure for ground-mount solar EPC projects. In depth understanding of financial aspects of the renewable projects, cost impact of various parameters, regulatory changes, specification changes etc. on the project returns or project viability for the target customer Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government bodies, private clients, consultants etc. Lead RFP/RFQ response preparation, bid strategy, and proposal submission, ensuring technical and commercial competitiveness. Identify market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to guide strategic initiatives and project positioning. Negotiate and manage EPC contracts, MoUs, and related commercial agreements. Work closely with internal teams (engineering, execution, finance, and legal) to align on project deliverables and ensure smooth handover. Track project pipeline, conversion ratios, and revenue forecasts using CRM and reporting tools. Represent the organization in exhibitions, industry forums, and stakeholder meetings to promote brand visibility and business growth. II. Required Skills Proven track record in BD for solar EPC projects (ground mount) – C&I / private sector In-depth understanding of EPC contracts, techno-commercial aspects, and bid processes Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing high-value deals Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, solar policies, and approval processes in India Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM tools familiarity is a plus Strong team collaboration skills with leadership ability to manage cross-functional coordination III.
