Job Summary The Customer Service & Engineering Change Control Executive will support both Engineering Change Control (ECC) and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) functions. This hybrid role focuses primarily (around 70%) on managing engineering change implementation processes across manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate configuration, documentation, and communication of changes between Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams. Additionally (around 30%), the role involves handling customer RMA requestscoordinating returns, repairs, replacements, and ensuring timely communication and resolution. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment. Key Responsibilities A. Engineering Change Control (ECC) 70% Review, monitor, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) / Development Releases (DRs) across global manufacturing sites. Assess the impact of each change (e.g., new materials, material revisions, BOM updates, obsolescence, supplier changes) and ensure timely system updates. Coordinate with Engineering, OPM, Supply Chain, and Plant ECC coordinators for smooth change communication and implementation. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from a change control perspective, including BOM setup and configuration validation. Track and report on pending and completed engineering changes; proactively escalate delays. Participate in Stop Order and Change Review meetings, record minutes, and drive closure of open actions. Maintain system accuracy for BOMs, item masters, and revision histories in SAP / Oracle ERP systems. Assist in preparing ECC-related KPIs and implementation performance reports. B. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) 30% Act as the primary contact for clients and internal teams regarding product returns, replacements, and repairs. Manage and process RMA tickets, ensuring all requests follow established SOPs and SLA timelines. Coordinate with internal teams, warehouses, and suppliers for parts movement and return resolutions. Maintain accurate RMA records and proactively communicate status updates to customers and stakeholders. Generate weekly or monthly RMA performance and aging reports. Support continuous improvement in the RMA process through documentation, feedback, and root cause tracking. Job Requirement Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Science Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment. Prior experience in Engineering Change Control , Product Configuration Management, or Customer Service (RMA handling) preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP or Oracle ERP systems (material creation, BOM maintenance, change implementation). Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes. Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and Office applications . Knowledge of Excel Macros or SQL is an added advantage. Behavioural Skills: Strong coordination and communication abilities (written and verbal). Excellent attention to detail and process orientation. Proactive, organized, and adaptable in handling multiple priorities. Comfortable working across global teams and flexible to work in shifts if required.
