Job Title: Senior Engineer - OSS (Ericsson ENM) Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - OSS (Ericsson ENM) with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the integration, fault management, configuration management, and performance management of various Ericsson network equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Ericsson's Mobile RAN, Mobile Core, IMS, and Telco Cloud network equipment, along with experience in integrating nodes and managing ENM platforms. Key Responsibilities: Integration Knowledge: Extensive experience in southbound integration mechanisms for the full suite of Ericsson Mobile RAN, Mobile Core, IMS, and Telco Cloud network equipment, including procedures for integrating all node types. Fault Management: Thorough understanding of fault management for various node types (including FMX) and the ability to drive troubleshooting and issue resolution. ENM Configuration Management: Proficiency in using ENM configuration management applications such as NEX, TB, and CLI. Performance Management: In-depth knowledge of the PMIC application and performance management mechanisms for various network node types. SHM Suite Functions: Expertise in the SHM suite of functions for network management. ENM Platform Architecture: Strong understanding of the ENM platform architecture, including components like SVC, SCP, DB, and EVT. System Administration: Experience with ENM system admin components including LMS, User Management, Role Management, OMBS, PKI Admin, ENM Configuration Management, Log Viewer (LOGV), and ESM. ENM Infrastructure: Familiarity with ENM infrastructure components such as Linux, C7000 OA/VC, Server iLO, VNX/Dell Storage, and Brocade SAN. Tool Proficiency: Ability to learn and use tools such as AGS, Sentinel, ITAM, CONEN, Neuron, CyberArk, RODS, Wireshark, CMART, and more. Northbound Integrations: Understanding of primary ENM northbound integrations like Netcool, Bilby, Blackhawk, Dibbler, SON USM, Sentinel, and Splunk. Proactive Issue Resolution: Strong ownership skills with a proactive approach in resolving complex issues and prioritizing tasks based on Telstra-specific use cases and ENM solution features. Maintenance & Housekeeping: Ability to perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks for ENM platforms, ensuring they run efficiently. User Account Management: Experience with user account management tasks such as creation, deletion, role updates, and troubleshooting for both Production and Model ENM servers. Hardware Replacement: Facilitate hardware replacement processes for all Production and Model ENM servers through support service engagement. Provisioning Tools: Proficient in Telstra-specific ENM provisioning tools such as CLI, Network Explorer, Shell Terminal (SSH), and Software and Hardware Manager (SHM). Training & Tool Interpretation: Ability to be trained in and interpret Telstra's Blackhawk performance indicator tool for monitoring and reporting purposes. Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in Ericsson ENM and OSS . Extensive experience with ENM platform administration and configuration management tools. Ability to understand and work with various northbound integrations (Netcool, Bilby, Blackhawk, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills . Knowledge of Linux and related infrastructure components (e.g., C7000 OA/VC , VNX/Dell Storage , Brocade SAN ). Hands-on experience with system maintenance and housekeeping tasks for ENM platforms. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with different teams to drive resolutions. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of complex technical issues. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Telstras specific ENM solution and contextual use. Hands-on experience with Telstra's systems and tools such as AGS, Sentinel, ITAM, and more. Familiarity with Blackhawk and Wireshark for performance monitoring. Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in OSS and ENM-related roles, with a focus on Ericsson technologies. Relevant certifications in Ericsson ENM , Mobile Networks , and Telecom Operations would be a plus.
