The Student Experience Coordinator position at The Bedford College Group is a crucial role responsible for contributing to the success of students by enhancing their experience and employability skills. As part of the Student Services department, you will be involved in various key areas such as developing enhancement programs, managing the Student Voice structure and Students Union, overseeing the Student Common Room, and collaborating with college staff and external agencies to promote positive behavior and safeguarding initiatives. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, GCSEs in English and maths, and recent experience working with young people and adults. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with record systems, and accurate data entry skills are essential. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary along with the ability to handle difficult situations and maintain professional relationships. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to organize activities, promote services, and work independently or as part of a team, are also important. Attributes such as reliability, flexibility, holding a full driving license, commitment to safeguarding, and a willingness for continuous skill development are valued.
