What you’ll be doing… Are you a React/NextJS expert wanting to make your mark working for a large global company? Our products are sold in 14 countries, we are leaders in our space and always push the boundaries. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experts in their field for a global company. Our development team is very learning and improvement oriented, in addition to team and pair coding, we also occasionally run book clubs on Software Engineering. Responsibilities: Maintain existing NextJS sites, including fixing bugs Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts Working with other JavaScript developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that’s well structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it We are not looking for the “smartest person in the room” we are looking for people who help “make the room smarter.” Failure is expected, as is learning from it and improving. What we’re looking for… Five or more years experience of development experience Ability to translate designs into code Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS A solid understanding of development and design principles Strong conceptual/creative thinker. Solid understanding of Git and Trunk based development A willingness to dig deep, learn from others, share your own skills, and be part of a talented and dedicated team. AWS Lambda Even better if you have… Bachelor’s degree. Experience with TypeScript, Python Experience with XP, Test Driven Development and/or Agile Principles Experience with running applications in AWS Ability to identify, trouble shoot, and resolve problems. Exceptional communication skills; written, oral and presentation. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
