Specializing in helping students with reading disabilities or dyslexia, Online Reading Tutor harnesses modern software tools to help children become fluent readers, particularly those who struggle after grade three. The team is committed to ensuring all students achieve fluent reading by the end of grade three, equipping them with the essential skills for academic and lifelong success.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for an English Tutor, based in Bengaluru with the flexibility to work from home for part of the schedule. The English Tutor will engage students through both digital and in-person sessions, providing personalized instruction to enhance their reading and language skills. Responsibilities include teaching English, conducting online tutoring sessions, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and tailoring strategies to effectively meet individual learning needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in English Teaching, Tutoring, and Online Tutoring
• Strong knowledge of English Grammar and effective teaching methodologies
• Exceptional Communication skills to engage students and explain concepts clearly
• Experience with learning disabilities, particularly dyslexia, is highly advantageous
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to nurture and motivate students
• Prior experience tutoring american students is compulsory
