English Teacher

Position: Secondary English Teacher
Grades: 6 to 10
Board: ICSE
Location: Goregaon, Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience (ICSE board preferred)
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in English with B.Ed. (Mandatory)

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 10 under the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, a clear understanding of ICSE board requirements, and the ability to engage students through innovative and interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver grade-appropriate English lessons in alignment with the ICSE syllabus.
• Focus on grammar, comprehension, composition, and literature as per curriculum standards.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and ICSE board exams (for Grade 10).
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and academic levels.
• Evaluate and monitor student performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents and maintain academic records.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity.
• Participate in school events, subject meetings, and professional development programs.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in English with B.Ed. (Compulsory).
• 2–3 years of teaching experience in ICSE schools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with the ICSE curriculum framework, textbooks, and exam pattern.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students with patience and enthusiasm.
• Tech-savvy and open to using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
