Job Description: We seek a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of English to join our dynamic Life Valley International School team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience and possess the necessary educational qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in English and a B.Ed. The PGT English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons, fostering a love for the English language, and promoting critical thinking and analytical skills among students. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational objectives. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters intellectual curiosity. Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning and comprehension. Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with students, parents, colleagues, and school administration. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that promote cross-curricular learning. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in English language teaching and integrate innovative approaches into classroom instruction. Qualifications: Master's degree in English. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
