Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English & Social Studies Teacher for the Integrated Primary Years Programme (IPYP) for Grades 3 and 5. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inquiry-based learning and a commitment to nurturing young learners in an engaging, international classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and age-appropriate English and Social Studies lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework Create a classroom culture of curiosity, inquiry, and student agency Develop unit plans, assessments, and learning experiences based on transdisciplinary themes Maintain student records and write progress reports as per IB standards Work collaboratively with grade-level and subject teams Participate actively in professional development, planning meetings, and school events Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the holistic development of students Candidate Profile: Bachelors/Master’s degree in English or Education B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (IB certification is a plus) 3–6 years of teaching experience in international curriculum (preferably IB PYP) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with integrating technology and 21st-century learning approaches Ability to take initiative and collaborate within a team Preferred Skills: Understanding of concept-based and inquiry-driven instruction Familiarity with IB documentation, learner profile, and ATL skills Willingness to participate in co-curricular and school-wide initiatives Interested candidates may apply with their updated resume and a brief cover letter hr.intl@greenwoodhigh.edu.in
