Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and guide a team of English educators, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver effective instruction. Oversee the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals. Monitor and evaluate student progress, collaborating with educators to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted strategies for enhancement. Create and maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, managing student behavior and delivering interactive, enjoyable lessons. Communicate regularly with parents to provide feedback on student progress and work with other professionals to improve learning outcomes. Offer mentorship and support to junior English educators, helping them develop their teaching skills and advance their careers. Step in to teach classes in the absence of educators to ensure continuity of learning. Manage academic delivery and administration at the grade level, ensuring optimal academic performance and student discipline. Collaborate with central committees to implement the curriculum according to guidelines. Establish and promote high standards and expectations for both students and staff, fostering excellence in academic achievement. Ensure that teaching staff are fully engaged and that all academic tasks are completed in a timely manner. Adhere to policies laid down by the Board and Central Committees, ensuring all processes are followed properly. Coordinate with the Principal and management to share information requested by the Board, education department, or central office in line with guidelines and timelines. Expected Competencies: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make informed recommendations based on data and sound judgment. Proficient in managing dynamic online learning platforms and using technology effectively in education. Capable of driving consensus in decision-making, especially in situations of conflict. Extroverted, result-oriented leader with a focus on outcomes and a commitment to achieving set goals. Experience working in a high-growth and dynamic school environment. Ability to navigate ambiguity, understand requirements, and implement them effectively at the branch level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Who Can Apply? Postgraduate/Bachelor’s degree in English or related field. 4+ years of experience in a leadership or teaching role. Creative problem-solver with a passion for English education and a love of teaching. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
