Job Title: English Language Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our NGO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English language to students, fostering a love for speaking, reading and writing, and helping them improve their communication and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed student performance records.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet varying student needs.
• Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Manage classroom behavior in accordance with the institution's code of conduct.
• Encourage students to express themselves through writing, debates, and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in English or a related field.
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification (preferred).
• Proven experience in teaching English at [mention level – primary/secondary/PU/college].
• Strong command of the English language – both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational tools.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
